International rehabilitation patients

At Circle Rehabilitation we welcome international patients from around the world

Overseas patients at Circle Rehabilitation Birmingham

At Circle Rehabilitation we welcome international patients from around the world.

Whether patients have embassy sponsorship, international health insurance or are paying for themselves, our specialised team are here to help from start to finish.

We will make the whole process as easy as possible for you to come the UK for treatment.

Often international patients come to us because their country of origin does not have the same facilities available that we can offer at our UK-based rehabilitation clinic.

We make every effort to make the journey and stay as comfortable and easy as possible, including helping with travel, translation needs and helping the patient understand the local area. We ensure that the patient's cultural needs and practices are met, and that the patient is happy and taken care of whilst away from home.

Fahad's story

Fahad came to Circle Rehabilitation from Kuwait after suffering from Guillain-Barré Syndrome.

When he came to Circle Rehab he couldn’t move his muscles and had been bound to one room for 6 months. Our physiotherapy team created a treatment plan for Fahad, to help him achieve his goals. By using our physio equipment and following his treatment plan, he has regained his balance, standing ability and has strengthened his muscles.

He has been able to stop using a catheter, that was restraining his ability to move, and also regain a level of independence, such as getting himself out of bed in the morning and has retained his confidence.

How we support international patients
